April 11th:
Happy Easter! I hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend. Great things happening around my house - I finished the tenor guitar! After a small setback on the finished, I regrouped and was able to get it finished. I also had to make a new saddle because the original one was not quite tall enough. Also, in the mean time, I finished a blanket chest I was working on - this was a gift to my wife for our anniversary (she made me a quilt - how convenient!). Here are a number of pictures for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

March 27th:
I hope the first week of spring (officially) has treated you well. I'm doing pretty good - allergies have taken me out of commission a few times in the last few weeks, but I've managed to get some things done.
Here are some pictures of the guitar assembled and with the bridge glued on.

Last weekend I was able to apply the finish. I used a water based laquer and brushed it on. It needs to cure for at least 2 weeks before I buff and polish it out. Here are several pictures of the current state of the finish - you can see the figure coming out in the wood! Woo hoo!
